Those want to install solar electric systems in your home may take advantage of the available tax credit of 30% of solar power project cost with no upper limit. This incentive is applicable for new construction projects and existing houses (both secondary homes and principal residences) but not rental homes. The federal tax credit expires on the 31st of December, 2016.

PA Sunshine Solar Program (This Program Ends December 31, 2013)
The PA Sunshine Solar Program will give $100 million in rebates for the funding of solar electric (solar power or PV) and solar thermal or hot water projects for small businesses and homes in Pennsylvania. Note: The amount of incentive for solar electric and thermal systems will decline at a pre-established rate upon the development of the market. Please click here to view the rate schedules.
Keystone HELP
Pennsylvania residences that are eligible for the Keystone Home Energy Loan Program (Keystone HELP) can get a low-cost loan for ENERGY STAR rated and high efficiency geothermal, air conditioning, insulation, windows, doors and heating systems. They are also qualified for complete home improvements using Home Performance with ENERGY STAR. The savings homeowners will get from the home improvement project and discounted rates will help reduce out-of-pocket costs.

New Jersey Clean Energy Program
New Jersey's Clean Energy Program is a statewide program that offers financial incentives, programs and services for New Jersey residents, business owners and local governments to help them save energy, money and the environment.
PSE&G Commercial and Residential CustomersPSE&G provides term loans to qualifying commercial and residential customers that can be repaid with cash or SRECs at a guaranteed floor price. Projects must be located in PSE&G’s electric service territory and eligible for net-metering.
